How To Make The Potion Of Water Breathing In Minecraft?

  1. Brewing Stand Menu

Let’s start by opening the Brewing Stand menu to make this potion.

  1. Add Blaze Powder into the Brewing Stand to activate it

Then, add the Blaze Powder in the far left box to activate the brewing stand.

  1. Add Items to make this Potion

Now, in the brewing stand menu, you will place the ingredients in the top box and then the potion of water breathing will be created in the bottom three boxes on that screen. Now, keep the ingredients or the materials required ready before making this potion.

  1. Add the Water Bottle into the brewing stand

Now, carefully place the water bottle in one of the bottom boxes in the brewing stand menu.

NOTE: if you add three water bottles to the brewing stand then you can make up to three potions at the same time.

  1. Add the Nether Wart into the brewing stand

After adding the water bottle, add the nether wart to the top box in the brewing stand menu. In the process, you will either see the bubbles turning white or the arrows will turn white, which will let you know that the brewing process has started. After this is done, the nether wart will disappear.

Now, at this point, you will see the bottle containing an Awkward Potion and this potion has no effects at all.

  1. Add the Pufferfish into the brewing stand

After adding the water bottle and the nether wart, add the pufferfish to the top box in the brewing stand menu. Once the brewing process is completed, you will hear a sound or notification and then the pufferfish will disappear. The potion of water breathing is now brewed.

NOTE: If you ever want to know the name of the potion and its effect then you can hover over the potion

The bottle now will contain a freshly brewed Portion of Water Breathing. If you drink this potion then the water breathing effect will last for 3 minutes. That much time should be more than enough to explore the deep ocean waters in Minecraft.
