Older Method
Firstly, you need to take out your iPhone
Now, Flip your iPhone over and look for this on the back “Model AXXXX”
This “AXXXX” is your model number
Now, all you need to do is to match the numbers up.
PLEASE NOTE: This method doesn’t work on newer iPhones, check below for newer iPhones.
Newer Method
With the help of hardware or the software, you can find the model number of your iPhone or iPad. The fastest way of doing this is by using the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Firstly, on your iPhone or iPad open the “Settings” app.
Then, move to the “General” section.
Here you need to select the “About” option.
Now, just tap on the number next to the “Model Number” option.
Now you will see that the number will change to reveal the real model number of your iPhone or iPad.
If your iPhone hasn’t booted up, you can also check the model number from your device. If you are using an iPhone 8 or higher version, simply remove the SIM tray. Then you will find the model number etched on top in very small letters.

How to tell iPhone capacity?
